Virtual Tourist - Everquest Landmark 6/15/14

Morning Intrepid Readers~!

Everquest Landmark
I went touring a little on a couple of zones and found some really fun stuff out there.

Loved the lattice work over his back patio. Even had a fake pool!

This place was perfect for the dry zone I was at. Loved the fans and the nice porch!

View of the porch (with rocking chairs!) and the entrance to the interior. On the right is the main entrance. Look at the way he made the neat window and the picture you can see through it. Nice effect~!

Even has a sunken living room. And he made an actual room divider screen! I could live here. :)

Next door was a lovely church. Loved the exterior detail, You'd really think you were in Texas or Mexico. :)

This one cracked me up! Las Vegas type sign, baby. This is the back.

The front just rocked. And he had fake fountains that spewed fake water and looked fabulous! You can see a couple there at the bottom.

This guy had an awesome basement hidden inside his place. Look at the cool ladder leading to the control room for a ceiling crane. Lovely!

I'd heard of these sample walls, but this was my first time running into such a huge one. So impressive!

This is what caught my attention in the first place. His Tattoine outpost/single home look! He even has a speeder. :)

My latest inpiration - rainbow stairs. Aren't they awesome? Finding the colors in the minerals and stones was not as easy as you might think. Gold/Yellow and Orange were troublesome.

My giant pit and the first full roygbiv.

Bad news though. While I was off at A-kon, my rent dried up (you can only pay upkeep for a week - I thought it was 9 days!) and my claims collapsed. Was able to recover everything and put my claims back down, but the saved templates are very hard to deal with. Haven't had time to truly try to put it all back. Wah!

Happy Father's Day, ya'll!

Virtual Tourist - Everquest Landmark 5/25/14

Morning!
Trying to get back into the normal swing of things again. Between Dallas ComicCon and traveling for work, my usual posting plans were pretty much destroyed last week, DOH!

Everquest Landmark
Got to spend a little time tweaking stuff one night this week.

You'll have to click for the bigger pick, but I added ivy to the entry and moved one of the plants. Really makes the place pop more.

Main stairwell also got some love. More plants and a giant clam shell. Occurred to me I can put a light as a pearl in it. Now on the to do list. :P

This still needs work, but at least the steps for the stairs are all in place. Still need to finish the banister.

The roof will be a garden. Made some different kinds of flowers then got a shock when I went to plant this one, that's the default size! Which then game me the cool idea of using them like lamp posts. Sweet!

You can make templates of things you crate in the game. This is my hollowed out planter. The utility for taking a picture to go with your schematic is finally working. Yay!

Hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Virtual Tourist - Everquest Landmark 5/4/14

Morning! Sooo sleepy today. :)

Everquest Landmark

The world and I do some strange stuff occassionally. Here's the zone from underneath without dirt. Heh.

Great sky views

Hubby's home in the early stages

View from his front porch

A neighbor built this on top of a mountain

A very early pic of what I am up to. Though I ran out of obsidian and had to swtich to stone

Super cool village we found. Some awesome work.

Very detailed stuff

Loved their church

The guys said they knew this, but it seems we have two suns. I thought it was a glitch!

My obsidian stairwell with light orb stairs. Spryte helped me align the orbs. (I also finally figured out how to get rid of the UI!)

Works great too! Just run on up

View from above.

My above ground floor. The one above will be a garden. Also will dig down. This one I will leave open

Say hello to my little well! Need to take a better pic with the lights on. Heh

I am so making headway! Squee!

Have an awesome day!

Virtual Tourist - Everquest Landmark 4/27/14

Running late today! Noooo!

Everquest Landmark

Burled Wood Tree. CAn you see the face? Reminds me of the God Wood in Game of Thrones. Depending on the facing, you get a different face! Love these!

Occasionally, when I teleport or am in a hole, the world gets funky!

The yellow and blue are my property zones. Eventually turned that off as it get in the way. :P

Friends discovered a weird glitch. When they switched to low graphics, it changed the skin color, hair color, but also gave us skirts! Mind boggling.

Hubby's place - construction in progress. He's had a lot more time to build than me. He has some stairs, sandstone floor, and looks to have marked where he'll be adding walls. (Don't know why my pics got thew extra header there. Sorry!)

My pick and I in a partially mined out vein of gem stone. Grouping and staying within 200 meters of each other give both parties whatever one digs up.

Moon rise by my property

A super cool set up on one of the other zones. Guy went totally Egyptian. Wish I'd turned off the bloody property viruals before taking these. Argh!

The genie in the lamp!

Pyramid with and Anubis head for an entrance. He even had a trap inside! Amazing work.

Can you see the floating pentagram in the distance?

A buddies place. Done a lot of work on columns and minipixels for his guard rail. He was nice enough to let me make a schematic of his column. I've since cut out 3 pixels from each side and make them shorter to use in my own master plan. Bwahahahahaha!

Have an awesome Sunday!
