I haven't done one of these in ages! Not that I haven't been taking pictures, but with the madness that has been the day job for the last couple of years, I've not been able to keep up and repost them.

A-kon 2017

The obligatory booth pic! A-kon moved to the Fort Worth Convention Center for 2017. So we were trying some new stuff to make the best use of the space as possible. :)

Had to take a pic of this. One of the dealers we see a lot came up with this creation! A Castiel Corset combo! Fab! (Can't believe I don't remember the shop name. *cry*)

Disney Cruise 2016

Civitavecchia (Rome)

The majority of my pics for Rome got accidentally deleted. Only have those I took with my phone. *cry*

After going to the Vatican, our tour guide brought us here for lunch.

Lovely restaurant with tall windows. Even has an upstairs eating area. 

After lunch, we went to a section of Rome's catacombs. No pictures allowed in the tunnels but there were some artifacts we could see before going below.

This is the lovely ceiling in the chapel in the catacombs area. Isn't the layering and detail amazing? 

Gorgeous, no?

Have not done one of these in quite a while. Apologies!
Life has been way too "interesting". Eek!

Skies around here have been fabulous the last couple of months. See for yourselves! :)

Great contrast between the clouds, no? :)

Full of hash marks - Heavenly tick tack toe? :P

Like the heavens were splitting in half - or a dimensional rift? :P

And what about these pastels? Also love how it splits the sky.

Some neat striation. :)

Loved the cool colors and how the clouds are spread out. Looks almost like a painting. :)

2016 is for some reason just a hard year. Simple things have become difficult - especially software. It is very odd.

Yosemite Falls Under Moon Light by Ning Lin at Earthshots.org - looks great! I am assuming the reflection is photo manipulation? I don't see a lake. But still very cool! You can see more of his work at his flickr account. :)

Mountain Monastery by David Lazar at Earthshots.org - awesome view! He's got even more fascinating pictures from around the globe at his site. :)

Owens River Valley by Harry Lichtman at Earthshots.org - loved the subdued pastels. Very soothing, no? His site has other pics with colors so vibrant they feel like a punch! :)

Sneaking in one of mine. Found a new vantage point where I can take pics without the window reflections. What do you think? :) Sunrise in Las Colinas.

Picture Kaleidoscope 5/18/16

Sorry about the lack of post last week. Normally work on that the morning off at work (before work time) but I tried to do a site backup and ever since then, I've been blocked. Need to talk to IT and see if I can get that fixed or just need to make sure to do the post early! (Easier said than done though! Whee!)

Did run into a new place people can exhibit photos and a great place to find stuff to share. Called Unsplash.

Good morning all!

Loved the color difference between the two cloud systems. The darker one looks somewhat like something from a disaster movie. :P

A lot of whites and grays that day.

Was trying to capture the dragon. See below!

Dragon! Dragon! Dragon!!!! I could not believe it. Wished I'd been able to get it from the better angle, but I was driving. Had to snap it at the stop sign. :P

Friend gave me these for my b-day. Isn't this the cutest idea ever?
