Virtual Tourist - Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 2/19/17

Ugh! Missed posting since I was at ConDFW last weekend and this time it was due to a 14 hour day at work! Boo. Hiss! Hiss!
Anyway....
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Magic shop! A cool place and also has vital info for one of the sewer adventures. :P
Here's a pic of the inside. Notice the magic fortune machine to the right.
The shop owner and former hypnotist.
Entrance to one of the subways. See how it's a credit card ad? Hee!
Kidnapped and imprisoned paper forger. If you look closely at her shoulder, you'll see she's wearing plastic see through sleeves!
You can see them even better here. Almost looks like a mirage. :P
Statue sitting outside one of the other subway stations. Love the clock tower!
Love that poster! lol. And the super modern look of this station.
This view is looking back at the station from the outside. Better view of the statue too!
No, he's not dead. Couldn't figure out a way to talk to him, though, so had to knock him out. The guy on the floor is the master brainwasher of the sewer cult.
Hope your Sunday is peaceful and fruitful!

Virtual Tourist - Final Fantasy XIV 3/20/16

Morning! Running late! Rush rush rush!
Final Fantasy XIV
Chocobo Farm outside of New Gridania. Lovely building!
Love how they built the fortified gates into the side of the stone mountain/cliff.
Such lovely architecture! So many lovely little touches. Swoon!
Inside the same building. Really lovely. All the stone carvings and metal brackets. Squee!
Are these not the cutest things EVER?! :)

Sweet looking machine!

Very imperious no?

Love the Egyptian feel to this room.

That is one BIG turtle!

Dancing cacti. Kinda scary. :P

Ul'dah at sunrise!

Stay safe!

Virtual Tourist - Final Fantasy XIV 12/13/15

Morning!

My back muscle went crazy during the week. Totally kiboshed everything. :( Got meds now, so hopefully things will go back to normal. Always something new to deal with. :P)

Final Fantasy XIV

Zephyr Drift

Such lovely complex structures

See the glowing crystal on the one building?

Mermaid damsel

Same crystals at night. Such a cool looking thing!

Dragon mount!

Totally cool!

Neat little lighthouse.

Giant baby chocobo mount. That is one big chick.

Look at all those stars!

Hubby's new armor. He's so cute!

Now this is a cool looking armor ensemble! Drool

Gorgeous!

Ticket counter at Ul'dah

Love that fountain's waterfall. :)

Hope you all have an awesome day!

Virtual Tourist - Final Fantasy XIV 12/6/15

Morning all!

Final Fantasy XIV
Limsa Lominsa

Like the giant trees in New Gridania, these are the peaceful wanderers in Limsa Lominsa's nearby environs.

Are these glowing, flying jelly fish cool or what?

Birds with crazy eyes!

Isn't this a beautiful creature? So cool looking. (It is my understanding that some of the creatures and sights can only be seen in specific types of weather or times of day!)

Windmills by the sea coast.

So tranquil at night.

Most of the construction in and outside Limsa Lominsa is in this white limestone.

Beautiful, no?

Some neat armor. Also love the look of the other guy - so 3 Musketeers. :)

Kobolds or goblins, can't remember which. Cute in a weird way.

Ah! Look at that sunset!

Inside Limsa Lominsa. The red banners contain the symbol of the city. A viking ship in a sea of blood, significant of their role during the war with the Galeans, if I recall correctly.

The city at night. Neat lighthouse in the distance.

Bunny ears!

May your coming week be fab!

Picture Kaleidoscope 7/29/13

Greetings!

Let's see what I can throw at you today. :)

We have a new assassin in the household. Mystique (aka Sweevil) had outgrown her kitten bed and Ells had been borrowing it off and on much to her chagrin. So we went and got a new and bigger bed. The following result in no way surprised me. lol.

Still trying to get the sun through the trees look. Heh

Last time we went to Yoshi's Shabu-Shabu they were serving locally made desserts - Nom Noms. The Coffee Cream was delicious! (And they run a Mexican restaurant as well - though we've never been)

Assassination Classroom - one of the oddest manga ever! I took a picture as I wanted to try to entice A. Lee Martinez to give it a look see. Tentacled Alien teaching class while having the whole classroom try to assassinate him or he'll destroy the earth. Too awesomely bizarre~!

My publisher had some truly outstanding prizes to give away during ArmadilloCon! This lighted bonsai indirectly ties in to my new novel Jewel of the Gods

Steampunk bookends! Wish I'd been able to see the actual ones but the publisher said they were still on backorder.

And the most popular item - The Folio Society's Dune 50th Anniversary Edition. With illustrations. ZP kept it wrapped to keep better value for whoever won it. Lots of drooling over the weekend. :P

Loved this plaque at the Austin Airport.

I think I'd seen this there before, but I did not remember it looking this awesome. Isn't this cool?

Evil traffic earlier this week! Wish I'd thought of taking it when I was higher in the overpass. :P

Happy Wednesday!
