Virtual Tourist - Skyrim 9/6/15

We didn't get to go to Animefest this year. We only made it as far as the Emergency Waiting List.
But on the bright side, I won't be working on the holiday! Yay! This will be about the 3rd time in 13 years or so we've not made it?

The Temple of Mara. The blessing of the goddess removed my developing vampirism! YAY! Cracked me up that when I talked to the priestess, she spoke of working up to become worthy of getting a blessing, yet the goddess already gave it to me. Heh heh heh

One of the other Gods of the city. The Imperium is trying to ban all the old gods.

Lizard woman! This particular lady is quite morose. huh.

Chain of tunnels beneath the city. Will eventually lead to the Thieves Guild's hang out.

An unexpectedly beautiful spot in the rat tunnels.

The Ragged Flagon - not a friendly place. But there is a woman here who for a chunk of cash will reshape your face. Also a stealth teacher. And where you'll need to go once they decide to test you for entry into the Thieves Guild. :)

Within Riften, through the brewery, you can get to another map area for the docks and the fishery. Love the viking boat!

Ivarsread - tombs

Ivasread is a super small town - 3 buildings! But they live right next to a tomb/crypt system. This table with embalming tools is on the top floor.

The man aka "ghost" responsible for all the recent fear in town. He invented a potion that made him appear insubstantial. From his journal, he's been slowly losing his mind here for the last 6 months searching for a ruby claw. (I didn't find it either before bad luck happened to me....)

Fancier set of doors - when opened shooting flames of fire came out! If I'd been in a hurry, I would have been barbequed! (You can see some of the fire in the pic!)

Where the flames came from. Nasty! Whole place had trap zones. Eek!

I made the mistake of trying to pick a lock in the 3 building town...Got grabbed and sent to who knows where for the second time. Argh! Peeps currently in power.

Is that or is that not the most angry (and weird looking) walrus ever?

First look at the town proper. Below is another level with docks in the water. So this part of the city would be considered elevated?
